Over the course of a week in September, a team of Matrix Standard Assessors inspected our apprenticeship provision and interviewed staff, learners and employers from across our business.
After a comprehensive evaluation, we are very pleased to announce we have passed our Matrix assessment and maintained our accreditation.
The Assessors were very impressed with our provision and left some excellent feedback complementing our approach and how we place employers and learners at the heart of our programmes.
More specifically some of the Assessors feedback was:
‘We have had an amazing few days. The responses we have received from a wide range of learners has shown a consistently good picture’.
‘We have seen that overwhelmingly your learners are at the heart of your organisation and are really well supported’.
‘Safeguarding and promotion of health and wellbeing is a key strength, all of the learners we spoke to were confident they could approach staff. Learners’ fed back –‘When my trainer asks me how I am, they really mean it. I feel like an individual and not just a learner’.
‘The relationships you build with your employers is exemplary – the collaborative approach is seen from the start to the end of the learners journey’.
Matrix is a framework used to assess an organisation’s competency in the field of Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG). Matrix accreditation is an independent recognition of an organisations high standards of IAG delivery and a seal of approval demonstrating our knowledge and passion for apprenticeships.
